Cocker Spaniel Rosie

I was born on 24 June 2010 in Knutsford, to proud mum Ellie.

This is the story of how I came to live in North Wales and share my life with Debz.

This is my story so far...

Didn't we have a lovely day the day we went to Bangor...

I love it!
I love it!
I love it!

Yesterday I met Jake and he is big and handsome and very well behaved- you think I am gonna be that good? Yeah right!

Anyway Nikki came and I remember her, she is the one that brought me home. Well she came with Jake and then we went to Bangor and met with my Godmother Joy and we went to a whole new place and it was so much fun!!! Like so much fun!

These are the pictures:

Jake again

And again

Trying to play with Jake

Still trying to play with Jake

Still trying to play with Jake

Still trying to play with Jake

Still trying to play with Jake

Phew this is tiring...

So that's what you mean by focus... keeping your eye on the ball is it? Is it? Is it? Looks like hard work to me!

Think I will play with Godmum Joy instead (What's a Godmum again?)

I really like Godmums whatever they are

Now I think I'll try and play with Jake AGAIN(mum says he is very tolerant (what's that mean then?)

Love it!

PS I do all my poos outside now and almost all my wees! And yesterday Nikki taught me to do 'down' after I sit and Mum has been asking me over and over (yawn yawn but I get lots of treats) and I do it- most of the time!

It's great being a dog it is!

Oh yes we had so much fun the day we went to Bangor...

Off the lead! And friends!

So Mum let me off the lead for the first time yesterday and I had so much fun- but silly Mum didn't have her camera!

I went to Bangor again on the bus and we met Mum's friend called Lee. She has something called a Jack Russell (looks like a dog to me)- anyway his name is Monty and he's 8 months old and a tiny bit smaller than me. So we played and chased and played and played and it was the most exciting thing EVER.
Ever.
Ever.
Ever.

And we ran around the house and the garden and then we all went for a walk to this big mountain side with lots of grass and we played! And we chased and we played! And that's when I was allowed to run free. I was so tired but I wasn't going to stop! And a little girl who came with us really liked me walked me on the lead on the way home and because I was so tired she picked me up! She was really really nice!

It was great!!!

So today Mum let me off at the park near the house and I met a big dog called Charlie (like my brother and my toy- it's so confusing) and he showed me how to chase the ball so I ran after him and after him and after him. He growled to tell me not to jump on him so I never. I never. I never. honest. I sat on the grass with my legs out behind me and watched him when he had the ball.

So this afternoon Mum let me off again but we didn't meet anyone this time.

But tomorrow Nikki is coming with Jake and we're going for a long run off the lead.

Isn't life great!
I love it!
I love it!
I love it!

This is me when I discovered I can't fit through the cat flap.
PS I was in the garden with Cagney and Lacey this week as well.

More soon... after Jake's been...

Nice Day

It's stopped raining!
It's stopped raining!
It's stopped raining!

And Mum she's let me into a bigger bit of the garden.

I had 2 walks so far today and we even got a chew stick at the local post office (what's that then?)

Yesterday I got told off (why's that then eh?) I mean all I did was help Mum. I saved her the job of empyting all the poos from Cagney and Lacey's litter tray. Cat poo with cat litter as a crunchy topping- yummy. Tastes just like chicken!
Don't why Mum was so cross, I mean... what is it with humans?

This is me (anyway) looking oh so pretty- don't you agree?
So you can eat flowers then?

Walkies!

The photos you saw yesterday were when I got my first bus last weekend to Llanberis and I was such a good girl Mum said (yeah right, must try harder then- good? Me?)

I went with Ceinwen from next door- she is holding me in the pictures- nice fingernails.

So the next day I got to go on a bus again to Bangor (Bangers? Did someone say Sausages? Food? Yes! Yes! Yes!) and then I went in a car with another new friend called what is it? What? What? Oh yeah Joy who Mum says is my Godmother. Well anyway we went to her house and I got to run around her garden off the lead and tried (yes tried, wasn't allowed, wasn't allowed, wasn't allowed- spoil sport) to dig holes!

Scary giant shadow- get away get away GET AWAY!!!

I had my lunch there but Joy gave me chicken to put in with my dry food. I really like these Godmothers- whatever that means.

Then this week Mum has been busy but I get 3 walks a day. Sometimes she lets me decide where to go and the other day (funny funny funny) to took her up his path she had never been on and it was dead steep and really really wet. And she walks too slow for me... especially coming the slopes- but fun! And one day Mum took me to shop because she ran out of coffee (what's that then?) and she picked me up and asked if she could bring me in the shop and the man said I was very cute and yes she could bring me in the shop that was full of food smells. I am very cute to strangers. Very cute. Very very cute. They would never know what a naughty girl I can be ha ha!

Today it has been raining all day so one long walk (so far- any more? That it eh?) but I refuse to do wee wees and poos out there in the yard- no way. Mum gets cross now but all I think is why should I? So I go out, whine a lot, come in and wee on the floor. Big deal. So then she started showing me I should do it outside and telling me off... blah blah... and I think 'Yeah whatever. You think I don't know that? Anyway, I'm still not doing it out there.'

(Mum thinks she needs the Dog Whisperer to help her as she is fed up walking on wee wee! And fed up singing her version of the Nolans classic (who?) ' I'm walking on wee wee, yeah yeah.' By the way she is officially mad.)

And yesterday she took me on the bus to Caernarfon... I walked by the castle and on this tiny bit of beach. There were children playing and it looked so much fun but they didn't want to play with me- why not? Why not? Why not?

How can anyone not want to play with me?

And I had fun finding out I could almost climb on the table today- oh yes!

But like I said...
How could anyone not love me? Eh? Eh? Eh?

Model Agency Shot with tufty bit, like it?

The perfect day...

v

And more to come...
It's been a week and all I can say is slap paw for not being the Blogging Dog- mind you Mum has been busy doing this writing thing and trying to get some paid writing work... what's that then? And I am only allowed on if I am a good girl...

But what I want to say is Love it, love it, love it... go for 3 short walks every day.

Since I started going out which is about 10 days ago I have had more than 25 walkies and I know the word walk now- oh yes oh yes oh yes.

My recipe for a perfect day: watch... pay attention... watch...
